Chain mail has long been a source of fascination as it is so tactile and moulds to your body. Creating it from the 0.8mm sterling silver wire to cutting the jump rings to the construction, I find totally relaxing. One loses oneself in the making. Such pieces I create are to be enjoyed not only from the wearing but from moving it through your hand to have that moment of peace and relaxation.

Chasing and Repousse is like doing a 3d effect drawing in metal. The process is ancient, hitting different shaped punches with a hammer flat metal supported on pitch. Chasing is working onto from the front of the metal and repousse from the back thus creating a tactile form.
